Contractors & Suppliers

Ottawa Community Housing uses MERX to notify companies about public tender opportunities. If you would like your company to receive notice of new opportunities for contractors and suppliers, we encourage you to register with MERX electronic tendering service.

In accordance with the OCH Procurement Policy and Procedure, solicitations for proposals:

• with a value greater than $125,000 are publicly tendered, generally via MERX
• with a value below $125,000 are procured via various means

OCH also awards work by utilizing the City of Ottawa Request for Standing Offer Agreements, and Kinetic and OECM Group Purchasing Organizations. Vendors registered with these organizations can be used by OCH.
